  • Payment information (processed by our third-party payment processor; we do not store full card numbers)

Data processed on behalf of Clients (End User data). When a Client uses the Service to run their instructing business, the Service may process information about that Client’s End Users, which may include names, phone numbers, email addresses, scheduling information, home airport, and personal weather minimums. We process this information as the Client’s Service Provider, at the Client’s direction. The Client is responsible for providing any required notices to, and obtaining any required consents from, their End Users. Information from Third-Party Social Media Services

The Company may allow You to create an account or connect through Third-Party Social Media Services such as Google, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. If You connect such an account, We may collect Personal Data already associated with it, such as Your name, email address, and contacts, consistent with this Privacy Policy.

SMS / Text Messaging Program

CFI Business Builder offers SMS/text message communications. There are two categories of messaging, and different consent applies to each.

A. Messages from CFI Business Builder to You (our Clients and inquirers).

  • Consent: By providing your phone number and selecting text as a contact method, or otherwise opting in (for example, by texting a keyword such as “WX DEMO” to our number, or checking an SMS consent box on our forms), you consent to receive SMS text messages from CFI Business Builder. These may include service-related messages, weather demonstration replies, quote and inquiry follow-ups, appointment or onboarding reminders, and informational or promotional messages related to services you have requested or inquired about. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
  • No Sharing of SMS Consent: Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. This SMS-specific exclusion applies regardless of any other data-sharing provisions in this Privacy Policy.
  • Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us.
  • Cost: Message and data rates may apply.
  • Opt-Out: You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. We will send a confirmation and no further messages unless you opt back in.
  • Help: For assistance, reply HELP, or contact us at travis@cfibusinessbuilder.com or 920-606-3409.
  • Supported Carriers: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

B. Messages sent by our Clients to their own End Users using our tools.

When a Client (a CFI) uses the Service to message their own students or customers, including weather alerts, lesson reminders, and currency or endorsement reminders, the Client is the sender and is solely responsible for obtaining the required consent from those recipients and for compliance with the TCPA, CAN-SPAM, and applicable law. CFI Business Builder provides the tools and consent and opt-out mechanisms; it does not obtain consent on the Client’s behalf. End Users who wish to opt out of a Client’s messages may reply STOP or contact that Client directly.
